Gingerbread Architecture: Part 1

This Christmas I was going to be all creative and make a non-traditional gingerbread house, one that models sustainability, like installing solar panels for my gingerbread family. Apparently though, I'm not the only one who thinks of such things. I did some digging around, and lo-and-behold, its been done. For instance, Chef Deden Putra beat me to it, with his recreation of Essex House in New York City.
