| The Baby Boom House |
One of my favourite houses is the Cape Cod cottage from the movie Baby Boom.
Baby Boom, starring Diane Keaton, is the story of New York career-woman who leaves the Big City for small-town Vermont after she is given sudden custody of a distant relative's baby daughter. She starts her own business and becomes an instant national success. Her estate in Vermont would be perfect, if it didn't keep falling apart...
The film was released in 1987 and Diane Keaton is hilarious, as well as empowering. Her speech at the end is very inspiring.

Needless to say, the Baby Boom house has a lot of character, even if it drives Diane Keaton nuts.
