Classes are over and Reading Week has begun! As part of a sculpture class, this past week, an exhibition was held in the University's art gallery, the Artery. The exhibition focused on translating an everyday object, in my case, an umbrella.

Umbrellas
are, by nature, not static objects - they move and change shape. I
wanted to explore these different shapes, each being represented by a
different medium, in this case: stripping the cardboard to reveal cardboard's inherent corrugated property and using wire to focus on the object's defining lines.
